The blue and green signs designating the difficulty level of each slope are sometimes hard to tell apart when you are flying down the hills and you can end up on one that is steeper than you wanted, but they have lots different difficulty levels to work your way up. More

We have been coming to Cascade for years and have also been season pass holders. The resort is well managed and there is lots of great customer service. Food and drink are a bit pricey, and we try to avoid weekends because the slopes get very crowded. More

We have come here the past 3 years in a row. We have enjoyed that it is so family friendly. Great runs for beginners up to black diamonds for those that want the challenge. Food and drinks are crazy expensive!!! Bring your own snacks to help out! Kids ski free 12 and under (ski lift ticket is free just pay... More

We've going skiing at Devil's Head for years but this was the first time we tried Cascade. We loved the quad lift - so fast and smooth. The runs were much longer than at Devil's Head - especially the green runs. There were many more green runs as well. The blue and black runs were challenging for the for the... More

We enjoy skiing at Cascade. Really like the high school quad chair lift. There are other chair lifts as well which aren't busy at all because people prefer the higher speed one. Runs are good and ample amount of beginner and advanced. Our two kids under age 10 love skiing. The lodge is very nice with an assortment of food... More

I think it is the best place to learn to ski in Wisconsin and Minnesota. The progression from the Magic Carpet to Big Bunny to School Mark is perfect for kids learning to ski. I also love the fact that there is no tow rope! I swear a tow rope for a beginner is very exhausting. My daring experienced skiing... More

Prior to this trip, I hadn't skiied a midwest hill since I was a teenager (30 yrs ago), preferring to take trips to the bigger mountains. So, with the weather leading up to our trip in the 40's and even 50's I was VERY worried that there wouldn't be any snow for our 10 yr old's first ski/board trip. No... More

This is my second choice for skiing near Chicago after Granite Peak. Nice facilities and very kid friendly staff. More

Will definatley bring the family back to Cascade. Great deal, kids ski free, awesome hills and good snow. Very impressed with Cascades efforts. Only thing they need is another high speed quad. It was packed this past weekend, but still fun. Great resort for the midwest. More

Went to Cascade as part of a school trip on Friday February 17. The slopes were fun, and there were many to choose from. The snow was in good shape and well groomed. The staff did a great job at the quad lift and kept things moving quickly and in control. The restaurant area was very clean. I have heard... More
