Very interesting homestead history PLUS wonderful and rare Norwegian artifacts (including the actual Norway building--not a replica--from the 1893 Columbian Exposition / Word's Fair)..... The tour is 45-60 minutes, but there's easily hours and hours worth of interesting things. All tours are guided, since most of the artifacts are out and about (not behind glass or ropes) and there is... More

Quaint little village showing the Norweigan heritage. Marvel at the furniture, especiall the tiny beds; and the need to sleep in a semi-upright position . More

A group of six of us went; our ages ranged from senior to early thirties to nine years. We all enjoyed this attraction and learning about the culture, history, and architecture of Norway. Bud was an excellent tour guide!!! More

We took the tour here recently on a beautiful fall day. The guide was very informative and had plenty of knowledge of all the items in each of the buildings. There are a few that you can actually of into and the collections are fascinating even if you are not of the Norwegian heritage. This place has been lovingly restored... More

We visited this site on a Friday afternoon and spent about 1 1/2 hours there. Litlle Norway is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is nestled in the woods by Mt. Horeb, WI. It is privately owned and a collection of buildings from a Norwegian homestead from 1854. The visitor center is manned by volunteers and has a... More

I've been to other "settlements" and this one seemed a little lacking over all. Now given its location, this could be the reason why. About 7 buildings, pretty grounds but in this instance our tour guide seemed giver her impression of what went on versus having historical fact. Is it worth the money, If you're really wanting to know about... More

If you enjoy a brief walk and learning more about early Norwegian settle life, this attraction will be right for you. We were in the area for another attraction and decided to walk around and see what Little Norway was all about. I was particularly interested in seeing the building constructed for the 1893 Chicago Worlds' Fair for the Norway... More

I don't agree with a previous reviewer that Little Norway was in a state of decay. It was a charming Norwegian homestead in an absolutely beautiful setting. Our young guide was pleasant and knowlegeable. I think that it was worth the $10 admission, especially if you are of Norwegian ancestry or are interested in Wisconsin history. More
