Tons of different shops and lots of eateries. If you are looking to just walk around and check it out - Third Ward is the place.

Lots of nicer boutiques and restaraunts, though had to drive around a fair bit to actually find a parking spot. Great place to people watch!

Started with the market and ended with the Goodwill "boutique" which couldn't have been more charming! Perfect place to spend the afternoon and to get the flavor of Milwaukee!!! Short walk from the center of town - I wouldn't miss this!

Lots of restaurants to choose from, cool shops, Anthropology, Hoarder store, great beers and awesome food. Loved the Marketplace.

Great for window shopping and trying new local food. Watch out, however - the food is over priced at most places and parking is hard to come by. Nevertheless, it's my favorite "hood" in Miwaukee. Love the public market!

We've eaten at Buffalo Water, the Hop Leaf and a few other places. The area offers everything from causal burgers to higher end dining.
