Enjoyed walking around the market and perusing the different foods but settled for seafood at the end of the market and was pleasantly pleased with my bouillabaisse soup and entree of soft shell crab. So worth it. Had coffee while continuing to people watch. Love the place. More

Nice place for lunch or to grab a snack (Mexican, pastries, soup, seafood, cheese). I've been to better indoor markets but at least it's in the Historic Third Ward so you can kill two birds with one stone. More

Lobster dinner for $13.95 makes it almost worth going in itself. Not a very big market, but niche products, friendly service and a must for any foodies visiting Milwaukee. More

First thing, I'd go in mid-morning on a weekday to get a real feel for it. Sunday morning after brunch was not a great idea. I find it a confusing setup between dining and "booths" with items for sale, everything from cheese to kitchenware. Breads looked lovely and so did the cheese. I was just being jostled and would rather... More

A very diverse, internal but seperate market has bakery, delis (more than one type), spices, seafood, and chocolates. A person could easily spend hours browsing, tasting, and spending quite a bit of money. Some of the items are less expensive than a regular grocery store, such as the fish market, but other items are more because they are specialties. It... More

Have fun checking out all of the local vendors across fairly broad categories to include a heavy dose of food and beverages!! The place has a good vibe, nice people and a good scene. It is located in the Thrid Ward so it is very close to other attractions; dining, drinking, shopping, art galleries, the Milwaukee River Walk. We make... More

Besides my favorite $12.50 whole Lobster Dinner at the fish market, there are shops with fresh spices, breads, candies, wine and more. Not very big at all, more like cozy. More

The market has a variety of vendors and I've never had anythign but a wonderful meal here. The mexican place on the one end has delicious food and the bakery always serves up decadent treats! This is a definite must-see and do in Milwaukee! More

Love it here. Pretty crowded on weekends, so you gotta pick when you go carefully if you want to avoid the crowds. Sushi a go go and St. Paul Fish Company and The Spice House are the place we won't miss when we go. Nice way to spend an afternoon. More

I love markets, so this review may be a little bias. But we stumbled upon the MPM as the way to see the 3rd Ward and stopped in. It was so charming! Lots of little shops selling cheese, chocolates, wine, fish, fruit and the like. Restaurants where you can get crab, mexican and sandwiches. Also a coffee shop with the... More
