I used to live on the border of this forest and took daily walks into it. It is nature at it's finest. Much has been done to preserve it in it's natural form. The DNR is to be commended for it's efforts. More

Very scenic. I like riding my Harley on the Kettle Moraine Scenic Ride from Whitewater Lake to Elkhart Lake. The route is very clearly marked. All the state parks in the area require a park sticker. The parks all have walking trails and primitive restroom facilities, and picnic areas. More
