Wisconsinites would enjoy a tour of this museum and it's hometown exhibits. Kids will marvel at the woolly mammoth that roars. More

We have been to the Museum many, many times since it moved to their new building. Nothing has basically changed for many years now. The kids still love it. I am hoping new leadership will make some changes that are needed to keep people coming. I know the economy hasn't helped, money is scarce for funding. More

Downtown Green Bay is home to a hidden gem of a museum, the Neville public museum. Those museum is a ever changing gallery of exhibits that are creatively displayed for visitors to enjoy. They always have a hands on exhibit for school age to take part in, as well as historical exhibits that feature the Green Bay area. This is... More

It's pretty small, but there are some neat things to see there. They also have an exibit that changes, so some times it is better than others. More

The museum has rotating exhibits, and much to my delight, I landed on a day with gorgeous rocks and crystals from around the world showcased. The dismal weather kept the guests to a minimum which meant I could linger around my favorite display cases. It was a well-designed layout, enabling easy wheelchair access. Second floor is where you will find... More

There are always traveling exhibits at the museum, as well as many permanent ones. The grandchildren always enjoy the seeing the exhibits of animals of the area, and also seeing what life was like in Green Bay over a hundred years ago. The traveling exhibits are always interesting, too. We thoroughly enjoyed the Anne Frank photographs they had recently. We... More

Their permanent exhibit ON THE EDGE OF THE INLAND SEA is a good introduction to the area's history, but seeing it once is probably enough. The art exhibits are not very challenging except for rare occasions...it's really more of a showcase for local artists, and being a county-owned facility they don't take any risks (unlike the magnificent Kohler Art Center... After touring the museum for over 3 hours, I couldn't believe they only charged $5.00 for admissions!!! Every exhibit was well laid out from the Civil War & Slavery, to the History of Green Bay and Wisconsin, to the Packers Tribute, to Early Wisconsin Settlers, History, Industry, Agriculture and Animals, to the Edmund Fitzgerald and Maritime History, a trip to... I've been visiting the Neville museum since I was a child and now that I have my own child, I'm happy to be able to bring him to see the new exhibits as they come through. I love that they have The permanent exhibits (we never tire of the permanent exhibit that starts by walking through a glacier) as well... More
