We spent time in Baraboo first and that town has so much going on! It's only 10 minutes to the Dells. We first went to a waterpark hotel then took our grandchildren to Circus World. It's like a step back in time. It reminded me of my parents taking me to the circus.

A fun day of circus stuff, performances, animals, wagons, clowns, rides and I have a two-headed nickel from the gift store.

We took our 5 yr old grandson here on a warm July day last summer. Having never been to a circus before grandma and grandpa were first timers too. The entertainers all gave 110%. We enjoyed the day as did our grandson Max. We plan to return again this summer with Max's brother Leo. That should be an interesting trip.... More

Circus World Museum offers a wonderful taste of circus days gone by. They offer a variety of performances through out the day and several areas of museum history to walk through. Plan for the day and take your time to enjoy the experience. They also offer tradition circus food stands through out the grounds to add to the experience and... More

If you're near Madison, it's worth the side trip to Baraboo. You can actually spend several hours here if you want (they have some movies and even off season have magic shows, etc.) or you can do a quicker stop. In any event, you definitely will want to go to the Circus Wagon Pavilion which has several dozen wagons that... More

I grew up in Baraboo and this was my first time back to CW in about 15 years. The show was fun for the kids and (spoiler alert) I always like to see a baboon brandishing a revolver. The show is much smaller than it used to be, but the Hippodrome is so up-close-and-personal, I almost liked it better than... More

We have visited this attraction twice. This is a good recreation as well as an education spot for kids and family. I would say that the admission ticket is cheaper compare to traveling circus attraction. At the Circus World Museum, you can see almost back to back variety of circus attractions in its big tent starting from the museum door... More

I did not get to see the circus as such, but spent an entire day visiting the different barns and exhibits. It makes you feel young at heart and want to be a child again and run away with the circus.

We went with my own family when I was young and I took my own family there and had equally the same fun. Kids love animals and there is no lack of that. Go spend half a day and create memories to last a lifetime

Our family went here for the first time last summer. We happened to be here on the day of the Buffalo Bill Wild West show. Very cool. We had a ride on an elephant, ate yummy snacks, saw the circus and also all the wagons. Lots to see and do, lots of history!
