My wife and I decided to take the wild tour and boy are we glad we did. Seven hours in the cave learning spelunking. What an experience!! We were told ahead of time that anything we didn't want to do we could take a "go around" but in the end we did it all (we're in our sixties so if... More

My hubby and I decided to book the "wild tour" over the standard, self guided tour. The owner was helpful and funny, and our guide, Jon, was fantastic.. Fun and both a knowledgable and experienced caver. The tour was way more physical than either of us expected and we were quite sore the next day, but we would take the... More

Stopped here for a break on a road trip. It's a small cavern you can get through in a hour or so. Some of the walking is very tricky so it's not really for very young kids or people with mobility issues. They give you a sheet with 10-12 descriptions of the marked sights you will see. You can go... More

If you're looking for Luray Caverns, this isn't it. It is a Mom and Pop operation, sort of, and you guide yourself and take your time. There aren't a ton a colored lights, cutely named formations, simply one of the many caves in West Virginia with interesting stalagtites and formations. Self-guides, safe, cool and unrushed - a good place to... More

In historic Lewisburg which can take a day to walk and eat and see it all. It's a very homey place and the owners of the caverns are so nice and informative. Very comfortable, out in the country atmosphere. More

If you don't like to get dirty the wild cave tour is not for you. We went a day after a bad storm, and it was really muddy and slippery, but we had a blast. Caving is one of those things you have to experience at least once, and I would definitely recommend going to Lost World for your first... More

My fiancé and I scheduled the wild cave tour and it was the best experience of my life. When we first scheduled the tour we were shocked that for a 4 hour guided tour through the cave, all your equipment, snacks and lunch it was under $100 a person. What a great deal. When we booked the tours they asked... More

Lost World Caverns is located only a few miles outside of Lewisburg, WV. We made the quick stop by on a weekend trip through West Virginia. You can choose the self-guided tour through the caverns, or a guided extreme tour through the caves (but prepare to get muddy). The gift shop located at the base of the caverns has shirts... More

This cave is essentially one big room with several pretty formations. Organ Cave, about 10 miles away, is much larger and more historical! More
