This place is very beautiful and has an amazing selection of wines - everything from whites, reds, and desserts. Their 1998 Ruah was exceptional - and was a superb deal at just over $30 per bottle for this vintage wine. The wine tasting pours were generous and plentiful, and snacks were available at the tasting room. There is also a... More

We've been here several times; love the Ruah wine. Once we dined and the food and company was excellent. More

Not my favorites wines, although not terrible, just not great. However, the winery itself is worth the stop. Some great gadgets on sale, friendly folks, and a beautiful seating area if you're hungry. I wasn't, so I can't speak to the food, but definitely stop for the experience. More

I traveled with three friends to the Prosser area wine country for the first time in October. We went to the October cooking class at Desert Wind and had a great time. The food & wine were all good and we even learned some things. I would go every month if I lived closer. More

We had the pleasure of once again being in the Prosser area (for the Hot Air Balloon Rally) and had an excellent birthday celebration luncheon. The food was fantastic, the portions were generous & even though they were a little shorthanded, the service was Great. Looking forward to visiting there again. More

Had a great time tasting wines. The server took the time to explain the different wines. Ended up buying a case. We will be back! More

The town of Prosser has wonderful village clusters of wine tasting rooms. I wanted the experts to tell me what wines had recently won awards, or had the highest points. All the Wine Educators were eager to share that information... except at Desert Wind. The woman (appeared to be a manager) was called out to help me, but gave me... More

My Fiance and I considered the Desert Wind Winery for our Wedding. The grounds are beautiful, overlooking the river and surrounded by rolling hills. However, it took over a week for the facility manager to return our email or phone call. We even visited the site and could not get in touch with anyone to help us (granted, we visited... More

Although this reviewer is addressing the event facility portion of this property and not our guest rooms, we would like to take the opportunity to respond to a few of the assertions made: 1) It is our policy that anyone wishing to book our event facility for an event ending after 10:00 p.m. must also book our four guest rooms....
