This low lighthouse is actually being used by the University of Washington as a research facility. The light runs by computer. If you are at Fort Flagler State Park, a quick look at the lighthouse is worthwhile. You can not go in the building, but you can take a picture.

Marrowstone Lighthouse is a small part of Fort Flagler State Park which I'm surprised doesn't have its own attraction listing. We took a few minutes and drove down to the lighthouse after exploring the rest of the park. Marrowstone is a nice little lighthouse even though I like the one at Fort Worden better, which can be seen from Fort...
