Perfect retreat if you don't mind a rustic experience. The hot tubs are clothing optional, so they tend to attract aging hippies. If that doesn't bother you, the setting can't be beat. Only wish they had a shuttle from the ferry so we could leave our car behind. We came by boat, anchored, rowed in and paid the $30 day...

Now if I had known that by saying "resort" they meant "camping" this post would be very different. That being said, $90 a night is way to expensive for a 15 foot by 15 foot room with no dresser, mirror, tv, or BATHROOM.

i had an amazing time at doe bay. camped out with a great view, yerts also available. 3 big tubs 2 hot 1 cold right next to a sauna. met some amazing folks and made use of the communal kitchen. not for folks who dont like nudies cuz everyone was naked and free!!!!

We stayed in a cabin called Children's Cabin. It was in a great spot in the shade. There's a loft in it which the staff should clean the walls, up there.
Very cool hottubs but they should keep it open pass 10:00 pm. The sauna rocks.
Nice cool breeze there.
They should put some kind of playground for the kids....

Doe Bay is a great "hippie" getaway, so if you don't like hairy half naked folks, please stay away! But if you are looking for a retreat from polished places, where you can half-camp in a rustic cabin right by an incredible beach, where the hot springs overlook a waterfall going into a bay...then this is an incredible spot.
