Owner description:
The La Conner Quilt & Textile Museum in the Historic Gaches Mansion, located in the beautiful waterfront town of La Conner, features rotating exhibits of quilts and textiles throughout the year. Shows change every three months, with pieces ranging from traditional American quilts to contemporary fiber art. The Gaches Mansion, built in 1891, is listed on the Washington Register of Historic Places. The first floor of the mansion retains the Victorian decor of the late 1800's/early 1900's.

I'd go just to tour the house - the quilts on display are extra! They have changing quilt exhibits, they are beautiful. The house is a classic three story Victorian in La Conner, beautifully restored.

Three floors of beautiful and amazing quilts! Well worth the $7 admission charge! The second floor has a special exhibit currently.

There is always a great display of textile arts here in one of the regains most beautiful restored mansions. I always leave amazed and inspired by color, skill, creativity and the hard work and time that go into quilt art.

I am a quilter and the museum was is a fascinating place to be in. I love antiques too so this is the perfect place for me to spend time! I love this place and only wish I had more time to spend in it because the exhibits are wonderful, inspiring and total eye candy. I get huge enjoyment out...
