We always stop here to stretch our legs and unwind after drive for awhile. It's a good stop on the way to Lake Chelan. It's a very clean day-use park with wonderful restrooms. There is a swimming area (no life guards!) and you can wade out into the river to cool down. Not open during the winter months. More

This park really has it all. So much green grass, 2 boat launches, covered picnic area, beautiful swimming beach, volleyball, basketball, tennis, playground, baseball field, even camping (we were staying at The Zen Lodge on the Columbia very close by, so didn't need to tent it!). This campground is so groomed and taken care of, one of few left. The location is great along the Columbia river and close to Chelan.
