We had a great tour of this old home. It included the history of the home and the life of the people who lived there. It's being restored, so we couldn't go upstairs, but we saw a lot on the ground floor and the basement!

Although the grounds aren't very large they do have a beautiful garden space. The house is historically intact and full of period antiques. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. If you love American history don't miss it.

This is a small, simple house, but unique given the era. Most people prefer seeing the larger estates, like those in Colonial Williamsburg, but this older house (1680s) is quite grand for its era and very unique in the U.S. The gardens are very beautiful.
