It's paved and clean. If you want sun, you have walk on it before noon, since in the pm the buildings block the sun. It's very comfortable, and you can watch all the activities out on the beach, etc. Convenient to all the major hotels and restaurants too. More

The Va. Beach boardwalk is beautifully kept. Clean, lots of benches, nice bike rentals (not pushy, good prices), gorgeous views, streets are well labeled.
