I felt it in my soul. We really loved the labrynth, readings from Edgar Cayce, and even arrived on time for a nice, free, and unexpected lecture on dreams. More

I don't understand one of the other reviews as saying it is creepy. Uh, if you don't like holistic and spiritual stuff then why did you go here? I didn't find it creepy and I took my 20 year old daughter and my 64 year old mother. Everyone that we spoke to was very nice, helpful, knowledgable and such. We... More

I don't know what their intention was in opening this place, but it feels like some kind of roadside carnival creepy. Don't think some kind of museum, or place to study. It seemed a hang out for people who are way out there. More

Attended the Gregg Braden workshop and it went very smoothly. Everyone I met who was associated with the A.R.E. were more than helpful. Every aspect of the event was planned very well. More

If you are interested in holistic health, varied spiritual practices and fabulous workshops/presentations, by all means visit the A.R.E. Va. Beach is so very fortunate to have this center in their midst. The bookstore and meditation room are top notch. Staff members know their stuff and tend to be most helpful. More

The A.R.E. houses records of the American psychic Edgar Cayce. It's usually pretty quiet here, and they have a nice metaphysical library upstairs that anyone can use, but only members can check books out. The gift shop is nice. Very spiritual atmosphere. The place has some good events, including a midnight meditation on New Year's Eve -- a lot more... More

The free tour tells the life of world renowned psychic Edgar Cayce. You can even lay down on his famous couch and see if you get any vibes. They take you to the meditation room in the penthouse. It has a beautiful view of the Atlantic and respects all religions. You see the largest library on metaphysics and are shown... More

Make sure you go to a lecture and the library as well as their great bookstore. The wellness treatments are fab but you need an advanced appointment. Mr Cayce's philosophy embodies the place so it is not a duplicate of anywhere else. More
