“great surfing instructors”

Went to VA Beach with a friend & we decided to take surfing lessons. Everyone at Surf & Adventure were friendly & helpful. It was a little difficult to locate where we needed our class but we took our cues from several surfboards lying on the sand. A sign or flag identifying where to go would have made it easier... More

We rented Surf Boards and had an hour lesson. It was small group and had two instructers! They were fun loving and very attentive! It took place on a semi-secluded beach so there weren't people to run into. Time of our lives! More

We were staying in Sandbridge and rented Kayaks from Surf and Adventure Company Ocean Rentals (http://shop.surfandadventure.com/SandbridgeKayakRentals.aspx). Pretty decent price for 1/2 day. We did the North Bay Loop (http://www.kayakvb.com/reports/20060610.html). We had fun, but I caution anyone that renting directly from the Surf and Adventure Company and putting in at their dock makes for an extra long ride. It's 1.5 mi... More
