The environment and ruggedness of this place with nothing for miles but Pinnacles around you is mind-blowing. I thought I had stepped into an X-files set when I went there. Its hard for your mind to behold that what you're seeing is actually the works of millions of years in the sea - especially when you realize you are in... More

This place is not like anything I have ever seen in the world before, the Aboriginal dreamtime explanation for their existence adds to the feeling of the place! More

The pinnacle desert is an amazing place. But we were disappointed with the kangaroo point and Cervantes town. More

We visited early in the morning when there was no big crowds and it was magical. The field of pinnacles were imposing and looked mystical. It was so quiet except for a few galahs ( birds ) sitting on the pinnacles. it is a well kept site and the toilet facilities and interpretive signage is good. Definatly turn off the... More

Yes it's a bit of a drive from Perth but it's worth the time. It's such a unique place and the first view almost takes your breath away. It's epic. We parked the car and did the 1 kilometer walk through the pinnacles. Once you go just passed the close lookout point it feels like you're alone with these natural... More

Not Uluru but certainly worth a visit. I was expecting about 50 much larger rocks but instead 1000's of smaller ones over a large area. Take a walk and spend some time in a great environment. Stayed in Cervantes for the night - great water to swim. More

I had laughed years ago at the sight of Bill Connolly running around the Pinnacles in the nude! This was on a TV series of him visiting Australia.I was delighted to be taken there over Easter when visiting my family in WA. It was a surprisingly large varied area clean apart from one beer bottle that we picked up.I love... More

The Pinnacle's facilities were refurbished a few years ago to accommodate the increase in tourism to this natural wonder in WA. The actual location is in the Nambung Park about 200kms north of perth (2 hours in a car). In summer there are flies as there are flies everywhere in summer in WA. Best time to see this location IMO... More

Absolutely fabulous. Our tour guide took us on a walk through the amazing rock formations in this desert. It was well worth the long drive to get to see these. It was scorchingly hot, so a hat was an essential item. More
