Not to be missed is the extensive glass collection from early glass to an amazing contemporary glass collection. The art is inspiring, interesting, beautiful and surprising. Your trip to the... More

I live in Hampton Roads and frequent the Chryler as new exhibitions come and go. It is a phenomenal treasure here in Norfolk. Suprising world-renowned collection. Welcoming staff. Superior Traveling Exhibitions. I love it! I think all visitors should make a stop here. Cafe on site. FREE admission, doesn't get any better in the museum world. More

Love all the different types of glass, from useful to gorgeous. There are many galleries with a variety of media but don't miss the glass exhibits. There is a new building nearby where you can watch glass artists at work. More

We are always surprised by how much we learn visiting museums and we always see and learn something new when re-visiting these places. You cannot take in everything at this incredible museum in one day; but you cannot afford to not visit and enjoy these magnificent pieces of art! More

I love art and there is a good amount to see. Lots of glass peices but there are numerous other forms of art as well. Also, there is typically an intriguing temporary exhibit. This museum just added a glass blowing studio to the top floor--very cool. More

This museum claims to house more than 30,000 pieces of art; the collection originally was part of the personal art collection of the son of the Mr. Chrysler who began the auto manufacturing company. I was impressed by the quality of this museum in a city of this size. They have artifacts from ancient times up to modern art, all... More
