I'm not a MacArthur fan and only a casual history lover. And yes, the museum is commensurate with MacArthur's ego. Nevertheless, he's a fascinating person and the museum does a great job of showing you why. Not especially interactive, so not an ideal kid place, yet well worth an hour or two if you have time while you're in town.

The new addition makes this a must see in downtown Norfolk. This was our 2nd visit, as we wanted to see the new addition. Lots of history and artifacts; good way to kill an hour or 2. Nice gift shop. You will learn something from a visit!

I have not been to the memorial in a while but it is a great way to spend the afternoon. History buffs will love the items and stories! Don't forget to stop by the MacAuthor mall when you are done!

This is a great little museum in Downtown Norfolk. Lots of history about General MacArthur. It is located right across the street from MacArthur Center Mall with a cheap parking garage which is convenient.

We live in the area and my son begs us to go to this museum every time we are looking for something to do. It is well done and very informative. This museum has fueled a love of history in my son. It's great!

This memorial is right in the middle of Norfok near the Crysler Museum, the harbour, baseball field and mall. Good parking. Lots of history and pictures and he is buried there. If you like war history and want to know more about American war this is the place.

Well laid out museum with easy to read posters on General MacArthur's life from his boyhood to his death. The general and his wife are entombed in the museum. Very easy to get to with parking within easy walking distance. Would recommend for anyone visiting Norfolk.
