We traveled with a boy scout troop who spent the night on the Battleship Wisconsin in tents. The event was very well organized. My whole family got to go on a tour of the museum, and the battleship. My son didn't want to leave. The exhibits were interesting to everyone in our group, and the price was okay. However, it... More

The Nauticus is loaded with history. Don't go there if you are not a history buff or hate the navy. Having lost our last old navy man last year this was particularly interesting to us. We enjoyed the interactive areas and the Wisconsin was wonderful. This put to rest the family debate on which is bigger, cruise or battleship. Seriously... More

Great museum for those who like naval history and battleships. There was so much to see, could not do it in one visit. We decided to concentrate on seeing the USS Wisconsin and spend a good hour plus touring it. Very impressive battleship which served from WWII to the Gulf War. The gift shop at the museum has something for... More

We brought my dad a sailor to the site, and he enjoyed it immensely, as did we, even though it was a busy w/e in Norfolk not overly crowded.

Nauticus Maritime center is not a stuffy museum. It is a place which offers hands-on exhibits, informative historical videos and nicely set-up exhibits/scenerios showing how those on the U.S. Wisconsin lived their daily lives. Personnal effects of those who served on the Wisconsin are interesting as is the tour of the battleship. The guided tour took us on multiple levels... More

A must see when in Norfolk, VA. The museum staff was just great. They even gave our hearing impaired friend a cc CD because their video(3-storey screen) did not have closed caption. The items in the museum were well labelled and the video really explained the role the USS Virginia played in history. The battleship is included with the entrance... More

The tour of the Nauticus Museum provided hands-on entertainment for our 12-year-old grandson. The admission now includes a tour of the Battleship Wisconsin, an impressive sight!Staff was friendly and helpful at the museum as well as on the Battleship.
