My girlfriend and I did a 1/2 day bike excursion with Marco. He had very high quality bikes, and brought us through some beautiful areas. Marco has a real passion for the area and for the environment, he was able to tell us about all the different flora and what the farmers used them for (food for silkworms, food for... More

Marco was able to customize our trip and was extremely friendly. It's a great way to view the beautiful countryside, but it's not an easy ride for those who aren't well trained - and we did the easy route. The bikes are in great condition and if biking is your passion - this trip is a must-do. More

Exploring Chianti (near Greve) on the bike was a great experience. Marco was a wonderful guide and happy to customise our tour to suit our biking abilities. The countryside is not flat and there are some hills you need to be prepared for. Marco was happy to give us all the time we needed to conquer these hills and was... More

I went to Greve while visiting the Chianti region. Interresting old town. The main square is nice with several restaurants and shops. We were there for the opening of the 41 Chianti classico wine festival. It was great! If you buy for 10euros the wine glass, you can taste up to 10 chianti wines from classico, reserve and super tuscan!... More

We booked well in advance, and looked forward to the "Bike and Wine Tour in Chianti". With a cost of EUR 120 per person (without food/lunch), we had some expectations. The tour was good - the biking was good on good bikes, and for a regular biker in fairly good shape, it was fun. Maybe not so fun for the not-so-trained... More

I experienced the best tour bike ever in the Chianti area thanks to Discovery Chianti. I was able to see things I would have never seen without the help of a professional tour guide such as Marco Pacenti. He made my experience a memorable one and can't wait to go back to Greve again in 2012. Thank you Marco and... More

Like other reviewers, we were a little nervous after we had booked a 7 hour bike tour only to realize how hilly & steep some of the roads are. Marco was great at adjusting the bike route to accommodate both our physical abilities as well as making sure we saw new vistas and sites (we were there for 7 days... More

My husband and I decided to honeymoon in Italy. We stayed in the Castellano de Spaltenna, and had planned a bike trip through the Chianti region with Discovery Chianti. We biked regularly about 2-3 years ago, but not since. However, we both work out and thought it would be no sweat. The day didn't go quite as planned since I... More

Recently we stayed at a most beautiful Castle - Castello Vicchiomaggio whilst travelling through the Tuscany region. Built high on a hill, surrounded by vineyards, the views from the infinity swimming pool and delightful gardens, were as good as anywhere we had travelled throughout the Tuscan region. The accommodation was charming within the 2000 year old castle which boasted it's... More

I was in Greve on a family vacation with no plans for biking, but couldn't pass up the chance to get on a bike. Marco was incredibly accommodating to set up a 3 hour solo mountain bike tour with me with a very early (6:30am) start time so as not to interfere with the rest of my family's day. Great... More
