Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This museums - like so much else on the island - shuts between midday and 4pm. I would have loved to look around it but alas could not. If interested make sure you get the times right.

Spent a very interesting hour looking at historical fishing exhibits and everything to do with the sea around the island. The museum entrance is down the side street. Check opening times.

The museum is relatively small and and split over 3 floors (stairs). It is packed with interesting exhibits and displays. Some of the models appear to have been made locally which add to the charm. Even if your not interested in boats your will find this an interesting place. There are local historical photos, newspaper reports relating to maritime events (usually sinking unfortunately). There is a massive collection of marine related stamps. We thought it would be a quick visit and spent ages. Recommended

A little Maritime Museum of interest shows many items from ships in three different rooms, also some articles from the titanic; it will be very interesting to my uncle, who is a ship captain in rent.

I really enjoyed my visit. The entrance fee is trivial and I spent a pleasant hour on the little museum's three levels. Most of the descriptions are in Italian but you can still get the gist of what is on display - lots of models, old photos, maritime artifacts...even the odd rubber spear head from filming in Ischia in the 1960's!

This is a small 3 floors museum, with a little bit for everyone. Probably calling it a museum is a bit too much; it's more of a collection of quite random marine items. Some items that interested me personally were the stamp collection and the old newspaper that announced the Titanic disaster. All in all, probably 20-40 minutes is what an average visit takes here.

The items listed under things to do on Ischia is very limited.
This tiny place is typical of that. Interesting to some maybe.

Even the dominating Castle, at the end of the nearby causeway, is only a view point really.

Quite a few of the translations needed translating so couldn't glean much information from this. Lots of artefacts to look at though.

not really a museum, just a couple of 'bibelots' a few oldies related to sea, but that doesn't really make much for a muiseum.
