Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Although the address of this bar is Forio, it is actually situated in the centre of Panza, just off the main square and at a junction which seems quite busy, not least because most of the locals either slow down to wave at staff or customers at the bar or actually stop to have a chat.

We stopped for a drink on a warm afternoon, whilst driving around the island, but ended up staying for a while, eating panini and pizza and just enjoyed sitting and watching the world go by.

Staff were very friendly and we had just about enough Italian and they had just about enough English for us all to manage. The bar is simple, menu compact, with some seating inside, but most out on the pavement outside, with a large awning over, right next to the street.

I think the attraction for us was that it was one of the least touristy places we visited, we were made to feel very welcome and everything we ate and drank was good quality. I am a bit of a coffee snob and the Americano here was delicious and served as only the Italians can, a cup of coffee with espresso in it, separate jug of hot water, plus frothy milk should I want it.

Panza is a main stop on the round island bus - CD / CS - because travellers get off here to catch another bus down to Saint Angelo, so you could access it via public transport.

Well worth a stop if you are passing.

This is a local bar and candy store located in Panza Central where you can buy bus tickets. It's nothing special but it is popular with locals and you can get a drink and sit at a table. There is a bus stop just outside the bar, but that bus goes to Sant Angelo and through the winding mountain road to Ischia. If you want to go toward Forio take the bus from the fork in the road 100 meters east.
