Definetely a must see! The museum is an old Venetian mansion, its history goes back in ancient Greece. They used stones and marbles from the ancient walls and temples to build it! The view from the balcony is stupendous, the furniture, objects, pictures are unique. There is a free guide (Jane is so nice!) and the owner mr. Nickos Karavias...

Avery interesting place to visit. Gives real feeling of an era past. Nice to get a drink in the basement and we had the added advantage of a lady pianist practicing for an upcoming concert. They run many musical events there.

The Venetian Museum, besides having a small but worth-while collection, hosts traditional music and dancing events. This place was a surprise. Walking around the castle, we found it by accident and my wife dragged me in. We took the tour through the house, included with the ticket. This is a must-see for any visitor to the island.
