Places you are unlikey to find or visit by yourself: traditional and unspoilt communities, abandoned villages, half-forgotten paths and unexpected finds, deserted monasteries, walks on ancient ways and lunch in a ´real` Greek Taverna, not a touristy imitation. Every day is a different route and a new little adventure. No stress, no schedule...we stop where we like and for as long as we like. Your guide Stuart lives on Naxos and knows the island and it´s people intimately. He is full of useful and not so useful information, tall stories and dubious facts. Nonetheless, you will have a good time!He is also a professional photographer, so if you want some help with creating better images, just ask. But an interest in photography is not neccesary to come along and have a great day out.Price 45 euro per person includes transport in a private car or minibus and pick-up from your accommodation or in town. On this tour you get to experience the side of Naxos that most tourists don't see. Stuart is a great tour guide,and makes sure you are enjoying your day. The lunch is a highlight! More

A day out with Stuart Thorpe is on our "Must-Do"-list when we are in Naxos. We have been traveling with him almost every summer since 2003. Stuart shows you parts of Naxos you probably would not have discovered by our own - hidden parts, like deserted monasteries, old churches, olive grows, as well as deserted villages. We just returned from a full day out with Stuart. He tailored the tour of the island to what I asked for as well as threw in a few surprises. Stuart picked us up from our hotel. He is full of knowledge about the culture and agriculture of the island. We stopped in a small village and ate local food... More
