The movie is only about 20 mins long, but the experience lasts much longer. Very impressive how shots from the past and shots from the present are integrated. There is no text, just film and music, it really gets to you.

We caught the free tourist train from outside the museum to take us up the hill, and I would recommend this for anyone who is less able to walk comfortably up a steep hill. The view over the beach with the remnants of the artificial harbour is quite breathtaking, and it gives some...

Definitely add this to your visit to Arromanches. Not for those of us who suffer from motion sickness. My uncle, a veteran, was very overwhelmed with this.
