I went in May (2012) with my family and had a good time. The kids loved seeing the animals and my daughter, who is 4, really like the sky ride. Many of the animal enclosures were small and there were lots of drainage issues.

There are so many different kinds of wonderful animals here. You can get very close to the giraffes. You can buy a cup of food and feed all the animals. Very clean zoo. They even have a sky lift and a little carousel for children. Very inexpensive. I can't wait to go back.

I used to come to this Zoo before having a child and I liked it a lot! Now I have a 2yr old son who enjoys seeing the animals just as much as I do! I would recommend getting a season pass since it's a better deal then paying for a one day admission if you plan on coming back...

Just a sad zoo. Little to see & there was little space.

I go every year - the place gets better - HUG selection of rainforest and African animals. Wonderful display - easy access to animals, clean.
one tip to the zoo - get rid of the skyride and the crazy carousel - focus on your animals.

The zoo is nice, with lots of animals, and a few random things to do at times. (Feeding animals, and a few speaking engagements.) This really isnt much to do on a regular basis. My kids enjoyed themselves a lot, but its only a half day type activity. It rained during my sons field trip so we didnt get to...

So much for the kids to see, but not too large to be overwhelming. Kids are able to feed the giraffes and can also feed the birds in an enclosed exhibit. Lots of great animals, train ride, covered picnic areas to eat lunch.
