Nothing special. The experience was diminished by the braggart owner. More

I have been to this winery on multiple occasions. This winery has a fairly wide selection of wine. I have been to loads of wineries in the VA/MD area, and this is my favorite. Yes, the owner is eccentric. Although full of energy and a bit edgey, he has always been nice to us, even going out of his way... More

View is beautiful. Bold reds. Delicious apple wine made from adjacent apple orchard. Owner likes to talk about himself and his "assets". More

Great view overlooking the valley. The owner, Howard O'Brien is very personable and informative about the wines. More

We went to the classic side and had a blast. The server was informative, personable and tuned into our likes and interests. Have been to over 60 Va wineries and this is in the top 10. More

We were served by the owner, Howard, We went to the Cellar Tasting because I like red. A very nice place but a bit on the expensive side for a tasting. The red was $10 and the white and sweets were $5. I have tasted the same amount and caliber of wine for $5. He is definitely all about himself.... More

I totally agree with all of the reviews that say the owner is a jerk (or as my husband referred to him "a pompous a$$"). We stopped by this winery on a beautiful Sunday and they were pretty busy as most VA wineries are in the fall. We waited quite awhile to find a spot at the tasting bar, and... More

I visited this winery on a sunday afternoon the weather was perfect outside and I was so excited about hoping around to some wineries. I tasted a couple of wines that were ok but overall I was not impressed by any one in particular. As me and my friends were sitting on the patio one of the managers who kinda... More

We tried this winery, hoping for a nice relaxing place to enjoy a bottle of wine - but that never happened. The view from the terrace is nice, but we couldn't wait to get away from the owner! While pouring wines for us, he told us about his world travels and how he's an entrepeneour and not a winemaker. He... More
