For many years Virginia struggled to build its reputation as a premium wine growing region. There are some really great wineries producing medal winning wines in Virginia and helping grow the state's reputation. Hopefully noone will come across a bottle of Lost Creek because it will set us back by years. Oddly, Tarara and Fabbiolli are less than two miles... More

Philip, Thank you very much for visiting Lost Creek (and so many area wineries) and taking the time to share your experience. In September 2012, Todd and Aimee Henkle purchased the winery. Todd and Aimee share your appreciation for the high quality of Virginia wines, and are committed to contributing to the state's growing reputation for excellence. Sebastien Marquet has... More

I wanted to like this place, and a few wines were very good, but most were simply run of the mill. There reds are better than the whites. I wouldn't skip this Winery, but I wouldn't make a special trip just for this one.

A little off the beaten path but worth the trip. Plenty of parking, a good tasting staff, and excellent local wines. The whites were the best!

This was our third and final stop for the day, taking some friends from PA on a quick tasting of local wineries in London. Power was out after a bad storm the night before, but they were open for business and in great spirits. There was even a local band playing on the patio, keep in mind there was no... More

Owners work well with all aspects of the wedding and their recommendations for catering, flowers, etc., turned out to be sensational! And the wine was excellent!!!

Visited Lost Creek Winery this past weekend with wife & 2-year old daughter. Very pleasant and romantic atmosphere, many outside picnic & patio tables so we could have relaxing afternoon. Wine tasting was only $7 each (10-percent cheaper for us with Military discount - a big plus). Wine Server (I think Susan) was very cordial and accommodating; give us full... More

You will get spoken too. I didn't look like I had money. So, the lady did not want to speak to me. Way up there on upscale.

Went for wine tasting; Left with a case. The wine tasting was $7 per person for 10 wines. Pam was our pourer. She was new but great. We enjoyed all of the wines tasted. We initially selected 5 bottles in the $15-20 per bottle range for purchase. We seated ourselves at a small indoor table. We opened one bottle and... More

My wife and I visited Lost Creek as one of 4 wineries we visited one Saturday. Lost Creek, by far, had the best atmosphere of the bunch. Live music was playing, people were singing along. The room was crowded, but we got right up to the bar for our tasting. We met a very nice couple and shared the experience... More

We have been raving to all our friends about this winery. We did not plan on stopping the first time, we just stopped to by some fruit from a roadside stand and he told us we had to go. So we went, and we have been back twice. Each time has been more fun then the last. The first time... More
