It's a relatively short drive from the main highway (about seven miles), but upon arrival, we saw some rolling hills with rows of grapes. And the wine ain't bad either! I live fairly close to this winery and all I can say is that it's beautiful and the wine tasting is great!
They have their first ever wine festival and June and we will sure to be there!

We did a tasting of their wines and I have to say all of them were good except for one and I really don't care for Merlot so...however all others were good!

Saude Creek Vineyard is privately owned and operated and has been making and marketing wines for a few years prior to opening their new visitor center/tasting room in New Kent County, VA, just this spring/summer (2011). They told us that they should have their signs up on the Interstate(s) soon to help folks find them.
