Course is in excellent condition. No water hazards which is a plus. Greens are fairly fast. Folks in the clubhouse very helpful.
It was cold and very windy the day we played. The course was in great shape and the greens putted true. Be very careful with a downhill putt!
Golfers (which I am not) love it, but for the rest of us, riding or walking the course is worth it for the beauty. It's magnificently landscaped.
We played the Old Course 10/21. We loved it! We were the first out, so had the course to ourselves. There were some truly amazing views of the mountains, hotel and golf holes. Wonderful course. Don't let others just play ahead of you without asking. They tend to let just anyone pop on and off the course with no marshall!
Billed as the oldest continuously played golf course in America. Unusual tract filled with 3 and 5 pars. Groundskeepers could be more forgiving by opening up the fairways and lowering the nasty rough. Beautiful and fun to play more than once.
We are not real golfers. We needed to rent clubs. The attendant made sure to let us know that he is giving us the clubs for free and that they are normally $90 rental. Nice of him but the message was really, "you better tip me well for that."
We thought the Cascades course was fabulous, but this course is also a great find, beautifully maintained, fine golf course with gorgeous views. Highly recommend.
It was a treat to play this course, one that some of the greatest players have played. It was tough, but a lot of fun. I will never forget the experience.
Beautiful and awesome course. The staff were very welcoming and ready to please. We had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves.
