Went to the Caverns as a day trip into the countryside. Very easy to find from the freeway. Our tour guide was very professional and quite funny. Enjoyed this jokes, even though one couple in our group seemed annoyed by his humor. Recommend this place as a quick day trip. A little bit pricey in my opinion, 32 dollars for... More

I went to Luray caverns a few years ago, and always wanted to stop by Skyline Caverns. Well I found myself in the area on Friday and my husband and I checked it out. Our tour guide was awesome, he was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor throughout the trip. I really felt that he catered the... More

I visited this caverns recently and enjoyed the visit there very much. Even in summer one needs to bring a jacket, because the temperature underground is always in the mid-50s. Very knowledgeable guide. More

I was very pleased with Skyline Caverns. Many people who I spoke with said that it was not worth the bother, but after seeing it first hand, I have to disagree. It is smaller than Luray Caverns, however, it is more natural than Luray too. They have tried hard in preserving the natural formations and the cave itself. I was... More

Had alotta fun and a great tour guide. Even though not huge these caverns offer uniqueness. Andy was our guide and the best ive had ever on cavern tours. If scripted he definitely does well to hide it.A must if in area and hopefully you will get Andy as your guide. More

Tour was excellent, very informative and interactive with the guide. The gift shop was too much tourist junk and not enough real rocks/cave related stuff More

Skyline Caverns is smaller than Luray Caverns, but not all Caverns are alike. It has a great tour that is good for younger kids as it is not as lengthy as Luray which makes the kids bored. Cool Mirror Maze. Great gift shop! More

I took the last tour, and I was the only one to take the tour. Nevertheless, the tour guide did a great job. I've toured many caverns, but this one is unique. It had anthodite formations. It also has several pools of water, and even a single fish living in one of them. The price is reasonable, and the tour... More

I've been interested in visiting the caverns along I-81 for several years and finally decided to take a day and head for the farthest one. Easy to find, Google Maps led me right to it. When I walked in I was greeted warmly by one of the staff. A tour guide can make or break any trip, no matter where... More
