Captain Spider provided an excellent tour of the Chincoteauge/Assateague water ways! Captain Spider is a local resident that loves his home area. He provides an excellent, informative cruise. He is very safe, courteous and kind. I highly recommend this venue. I was very confused by the multiple waterways, bridges, inlets.... and this detailed cruise put the area in perspective.

We took the first boat trip of the year with Spider in April. We were the only couple and he clearly wanted us to have a great experience. We took a sunset cruise with Spider to get some nature photos. We had a great time. He only takes out a maximum of 6 people, so he can cater to your needs. It was the best thing we did on the island.

My wife and I arrived at the dock and were promptly greeted by Captain Spider. We arrived a little early and he offered to take us out prior to our scheduled time at 6pm. We took the sunset cruise and it was perfect. We saw ponies, osprey, oyster beds, and an eagle. The tour includes the entire island and Spider is very knowledgeable about the island, its wildlife and history. Definitely recommend this tour.

We decided to do this with very little notice and were soooo glad that he was able to accomodate us. We had a terrific time. He was very knowledgeable and timed everything perfectly so that we ended up at the sunset and dolphins surfacing everywhere. Just a much needed ending to our awesome vacation.
