My teen girls & I did an early morning kayak trip to Assateague/Chincoteague Islands - the guides were awesome. We got to see ponies fairly close & we explored some when they found out some of like birds. Really beautiful. Take lots of bug stuff though - when you get out, the bugs feast! More

We both enjoyed this so much. The scenrey was totally outstanding. Got to see many bunches of ponies that I read about as a child. Ready to go back again soon. Crew person answered all our questions, she was very educated and helped us plan the rest of our journey up the coast. More

I go to Chincoteague alot and decided to take a cruise last yr with this group. This was a very bad situation, had to wait on the Captain, he was very distress, his mate was very low class and underdressed. The whole experience was not worth the money spent. The boat was nice, but the people are what makes the... More

A MUST DO!! Tour was fabulous-amazing-phenomenal! Guides were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely passionate about what they do. Very informed of the ponies and where to see them. Also, very helpful with local information. The Captain's Beagle came along for the boat ride was an added plus especially when he knew dolphins were close and started baying (the Captain said he... My Cousin and I went on the boat on Oct. 8th, 2011.The Captain was very acommadating. We got there right before the 10:30 trip ,we were suppose to go on the 1:30 trip, bu tdid the 10:30 instead. The crew was informative about the wild horses and about Assateague Island itself. It was worth the money and was about 2... More

Make reservations and look up directions to the boat launch. We saw the ponies on the beach with great close up photo opportunities. Be sure to keep a look out for birds too while cruising. Good for all ages, easy to board the boat. Bring a jacket. More

Despite the threat of rain and cloudy skies Captain Mark took us out to cruise along the coastlines of Chincoteague and Assateague Islands. It was a beautiful ride and Captain Mark is full of information regarding the islands and the wild ponies! Unfortunately, it was not a day where the ponies were out close to the water's edge. They were... More

So glad we took this trip. Mark and his cousin were our 'guides,' and they were both helpful and informative. It was the highlight of our short Chincoteaque getaway. We were able to spot ponies - although they weren't real close. We also saw blue herons and several bald eagles. The boat ride was most enjoyable. Mark is definitely entertaining... More

After a day and a half of heavy fog shrouding the island, it was a pleasure to take this morning cruise on a bright and sunny day. Captain Mark and his assistant (a woman whose name I cannot recall) were very knowledgable about the area's history, wildlife and birds. They were able to share many points of interest and answer...
