Visited Monticello last week. The day was beautiful. The views of the Blue Ridge Mountains were breathtaking. I'm not one for historic 'stuff' but felt compelled to see Monticello. So glad we went - what a great tour! Only paid for the downstairs and don't feel like I missed a thing. Monticello is absolutely amazing. The house tour is really only the beginning of what your ticket pays for. Seeing the inside of the house that Jefferson designed and lived in is awesome.
