“Always a fun place”

Everytime we ccome to Vermont, we love to visit the Vermont Country Store. They have so much 'cool' stuff and the maple items are wonderful. The only negative part is that many items are way overpriced. Of course, you can't get them anymore, so that's why you have to pay the premium dollar for it. The staff are wonderful.

“Worth a stop, can't wait to go back!”

We were driving by and thought the place was so cute (and crowded!) that we had to stop. Our visit started (and ended) kissing on the Kissing Bridge. We went in hoping to find a clean bathroom (which we did) but also broke into temptation and took advantage of the many samples. We are going back on a buying spree... More

We have to admit that we hear from many visitors that they can't beat our fudge even with their own recipes. We'll keep sampling fudge until everybody knows! Have a great day and visit again soon. “Great for Nostalgia”

This place is a time machine! Not only do they have items you thought were long gone ("Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific") but new items of outstanding quality (cutlery and bakeware actually made in the USA!!). Don't leave without a visit (much better to visit in the off-season if possible).

“Natural and classical...all good!”

The Vermont Country Store is a great stop for a few minutes or a couple of hours. You will enjoy looking around at the quality items, tasting the delicious New England cheeses, and feeling the natural cotton and thick flannel of the nightclothes. “A little Bit of Everything”

A fun store to kill an hour. They have a little bit of EVERYTHING. Especially stuff that you haven't seen in years, like Love's Baby Soft, Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific......
