I have eaten breakfast and dinner here and it's a fun place, well run with good quality food. Sometimes a few too many children running around though!

My favorite sandwich--crab cakes plus avocado on a bun. Yum. Or, for breakfast, a selection of Huevos Rancheros and fresh doughnuts. And, yes, there is a movie theatre attached. A unique and always satisfying stop.

I visited the big picture theater for the first time in at least 10 years.. it has been under several different owners since.. its in a great spot, but the staff was not at all helpful.. after we purchased our tickets, the guy at the counter didn't tell us where to go, we luckily just walked into the right room.....

The Pitcher Inn staff suggested we try the Cafe for lunch. What a great place! Our waiter was friendly and welcoming. The menu looked great...so many choices. The crabcake with avocado was perfect with fresh mixed greens. They are famous for their fresh hamburgers and rightly so; excellent! Everything was fresh, homemade and really tasty.

For tasty food and great atmosphere we always go to The Big Picture House for dinner when traveling in Waitsfield. Especially the burbon burger is amazing!
