The lodge is excellent, the ski valet service is awesome and works wonders. Kids lived the pool and the game room. Not too much to do, but we were there to ski, that did not bother us at all. Greta restaurants, mostly 10 minutes away.

Had a great time the first week in April at Stowe. The whole mountain was open with powder and packed powder conditions. The mountain really has a nice mix of fast blue cruisers, groomed back runs (Hay Ride, Nose Dive) and the famous double black front four. We had no crowds mid-week. The only reason it did not get 5...

Stowe Mountain Ski Resort is divided into two sections. The newer section is also where the ski school is. Those are all the green hills and a couple of blue. This is really nice for newer skiers, because there are ski teachers all around that will stop and help you. Everyone was extremely friendly and passionate about skiing. The lifts...

This was my second trip to Stowe and it was great to be back. The lift ticket prices are high but the mountain keeps investing on always better snowmaking, smart pass cards and fast lifts. They also have staff skiing the mountain and allegedly devoted to improve your experience. They wear a blue coat. The mountain is divided in sectors....

Lots of varied terrain for all levels. Well-groomed runs, not crowded, beautiful setting. Good food choices up and down the mountain. Loved it so much, we extended our stay!
My boyfriend and I (both in our 40's) planned a 4 night trip to Stowe March 20-24, 2013 and it was wonderful.
Our room in the lodge was a perfect size with a great bed, bath, desk, fireplace, small kitchen, and deck overlooking the pool.
The bar in the main lodge was a nice place to relax in the evenings....

We had a fantastic time skiing at Stowe! The mountain is huge and has a lot of varied terrain. We went on a Sunday in March and it wasn't crowded at all. We would love to go back!
Was not really expecting the cold blowy conditions that left many slopes scratchy, but skiing at Stowe on a mid-March Sunday is still pretty nice.
The gondola was crowded with folks trying to get out of the wind, so we stayed on the chairs with no wait at all until the afternoon when folks started to clear out and the...

I have been skiing at Stowe for over 35 years. Often reminisce about the old wool ponchos the lift attendants would had out to skiers getting onto the lifts on those bitter cold days. The old lodge is still in place which is comfort to some of us oldtimers. But I'm coming around to the "new Stowe" over at Spruce...

Very friendly and helpful employees at Stowe. My boys took lessons with a great person. The people working with the rentals were very helpful & friendly. A very positive experience. The only downside - $97 for lift tickets, OUCH!
