This has been a difficult year for ski resorts in Vermont with little snow and unusually warm weather. We visited in late March. Only 2 lifts were open and the skiing was expert only. There were many patches of grass, and rock on these few slopes. Although I realize the conditions were difficult, they do advertise that they have a... More

I took intermediate ski lesson with Sievert who is from Norway. He was the best ski instructor I ever had. He was not just a good skier, he knew how to teach. He serious about teaching us and he got results. He even taught us stuff on the way up in the chairlift. He told us, he showed us, he... More

My first time at Killington. Nice mountain, lots of nice trains, easy access, lots of parking if you are driving. They have two gondolas which come in handy when it’s cold. This year they didn’t have lots of snow so on weekends trails are solid ice by noon. Also, most of black diamonds are closed for lack of snow. They... More

The ski area was groomed after a slushy day, and froze during the night. The skiers softened the corduroy and great conditions ensued. The groomers might want to knock down the frozen moguls. The crowds for Sunday 3/4/12 were minimal, and skiers ability seemed above average. The food in the lodge was pricey but tasteful. They offered a great 4... More

The pistes are well groomed and the resort has done really well this year to maintain what little snow they have had. It's a shame that there's so little atmosphere on the piste and that the food outlets basically all offer the same package. Some lifts are very good and fast; a few are very old. Links between runs and... More

Lots of room to ski, many, many trails. Although there were many visitors it still isn't crowded on the mountain. We loved the fact that there is so much terrain it never gets boring. More

Great place to ski providing there is sufficient snow, but there are decent snow making facilities. It appear to be totally organised and manned with efficient staff. The terraine park and Superpipe across on bear mountain are a must and add a little sparkle and more attraction to the resort. A negative must be the cost of the some of... More

Definately ask about the condo unit to make sure it is a ski home/out facility. More

would have been a five star, but felt like the ski school did not put our children in the right classes. Think that they are stronger skiers than the quick evaluation showed. Suggest that they need a program for tweens. The tubing was a fun extra that we did on the last day before we left. More
