This bike path is perfect for EVERYONE - and EVERYONE uses it, which, on a summer weekend, can be a challenge if you want to get your speed on. NOTE that ALL REPAIRS to the existing line have been done and as of May 1 2013 (my last visit) everything is paved and ready for use. ALSO they are bringing... More

We rented bicycles and enjoyed the beautiful views from the Burlington bike path. The path itself does need some new pavement in several places but is certainly rideable on any type of bike.

This is among the centers of recreational activity around the waterfront area. the bike path stays very busy. Good for bikers, walkers, roller bladers, skate boarders, etc. It is mostly flat, and and is a very manageable distance if you wan to go "all the way".

We started at Mallets Bay and rode south to North Beach in Burlington -- and back. 12.25 mile loop. Paved path, only a bit of it on the road itself. Path is in good condition and offers pretty lake views in many places. Can be a bit congested with mixed use of joggers, walkers, dogs, kids, etc -- so not... More

Beautiful, but a bit choppy at times- my go to bike ride. Love to ride here at sunset- can get a bit crowded.

We took our bikes for a long ride and had a blast. It's a well made, wide path that is utilized by many people of various modes of moving along! Highly recommended!

Very picturesque views from the path. Had some great runs while in Burlington. Flat asphalt trail. Went south one day and north the next.

Burlington Bike Path runs right along Lake Champlain, where you can almost reach over and touch the water, and then ride high through several beaches, eat a hamburg at Charlie's Auer's Boathouse, and then up and over the Winooski River, into other bike trails that will take you out onto Lake Champlain on the old RR track for the best... Just one more thing that makes Burlington great! Bring your bikes and ride for miles along the shore of Lake Champlain. We parked near the ECHO museum right near the center of town. A crowded spot.

This is a wonderful bike path, that connects to bike paths in Colchester to the north and South Burlington to the south. Many riders and walkers take the path north from downtown. It passes several beaches with great views. Snacks and bathrooms are available at North Beach or Leddy Park arena. Check out the summer snowbank behind the arena! Continue... More
