My husband and I brought our 2 boys here (ages 10 & 5) because our oldest had been studying the American Revolution in school. They really enjoyed taking the elevator to the top of the monument and seeing the different states. We found the ticket prices very reasonable. We liked the educational aspect of it and our kids were happy... More

We arrived late in the day on a rainy Sunday just driving through Vermont - we thought the monument would be closed - it wasn't and the people there were great! We got a tour of the grounds and up into the monument with some great views of the surrounding countryside just as the sky cleared and the sun came... More

It was a great place to visit! Loved the views from up in the monument! The guide was very informative, we really learned a lot about the Battle and the history of the monument itself. Worth checking out if you are in the area!

I enjoyed the view from the top of the monument! It is very worth the small admission fee they charge. I didn't get to see the other monuments on the grounds but had heard that they were there. The area surrounding the monument is like a park and would be a nice place to have a picnic, throw the frisbee,... More

We loved the views from the top! Worth the small admission fee. The other monuments on the grounds were interesting. The ground are park-like and would be a nice place for a sunny picnic.

You can take an elevator 20 stories to the top of the monument and see 3 states. The views are great and the monument is close to some covered bridges.

I read about how tall and impressive this monument is but nothing compares to seeing it first from the highway, then up close! We weren't there when leaves were turning colors, which I'm sure is a beautiful sight, there weren't even leaves on the trees, but Bennington was lovely. We spotted the Battle Monument from the highway and made our... More
