Please go visit this lovely little museum in downtown St. George. We were actually looking for the visitor's center and stumbled upon this place. The retiree ladies who operate the museum are soo sweet! There are about five rooms on the main floor chocked full of interesting memorabilia from the mid 1800s - clothing, quilts, farm implements, kitchen tools, things... More

This was a building that contained mostly records and pictures of pioneer families of the St. George area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If you didn't know lots of folks that made up the history of the city, it didn't have much else to offer.

This is a little museum, but very full of history, artifacts, old photos and snippits of a time long ago. We loved it.

This is a great place to visit. They have put it together very well. I have family on both sides of my parents who came across the plains by handcarts. This was a really neat place for me to visit.

Like most DUP museums, this has tons of stuff...and I do mean tons! Unfortunately, the gems get lost in the urge to display everything they have. Most historical museums would kill to have the items the DUPs have, but most museums have curators who know how to edit the displays so that the public can actually see and appreciate what... More
