The tour takes a different flavor depending on the group members on tour and the mood of the guides. I have been a couple of times and I have heard longer and shorter presentations. Hopefully, you will get the longer version. It is interesting to learn about the polygamy issue in the early days of Utah.

Elder Davis was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and fun. Gave the tour a historical spin with good stories that the families enjoyed.

We enjoyed going to the home. The missionaries were very friendly and informative. They answered our questions and the historical facts were very interesting. We enjoyed the visit very much.

My family has a home across the street so we've all been in here hundreds of times. The tour is quick and interesting. When the peaches are ripe you're welcome to go out and pick them. They also grow grapes and cotton. It's a fun little stop.

A lot of history/artifacts from the era (mid to late 1800's). A Mormon I met suggested we visit and I begrudgingly went and was surprised at the presentation and the site. I would recommend this to any person who has an interest in history and artifacts from the time period.

Indepth details by Mormons who guide you thru the home. The pioneers who established this area endured great hardships. Great info. for history buffs!!

This is most interesing if you know a little LDS Church History. The missionary, Elder Raymond, who showed us through could not have been more knowledgable and thorough.

Getting to know the history of Jacob Hamblin and other early settlers of this area was fascinating if you are into Mormon history. Otherwise, this probably is not a must-see item.

Extremely interesting, one of the original homes in the St. George area and it contains a lot of early Mormon Church history. A must visit if you are in the area

We did this tour after finishing the larger historical bus tour of the area. It was fun to tour the home and hear about how the first settlers to the area lived. The guides were informative and friendly. The children in our party loved the experience!
