The enclosed vehicle made the tour successful or us as the weather was extremely windy and cool. I thought it was a nice touch when this tour company matched the vehicle to the weather. We did a combination tour to the Mystery and Lower Valley with Bobby as our guide. The tour allowed us to experience the valley up close... More

We took Monument Valley Safari's 2.5 hour tour in early May, and it was an outstanding experience. Our guide, Duffy, exemplified what a tour guide should be. He was thorough and entertaining in describing the culture, history, and geology of Monument Valley and its inhabitants. Our experience was vastly richer than it would have been if we had just driven... More

My husband, two friends and myself did two tours with Bobby our guide today. We started with a three hour sunrise tour this morning and then rejoined Bobby for the Cultural three hour afternoon tour. It was an amazing experience. He is incredibly informative and so knowledgeable about the Navajo tribe. We covered a vast area of the park and... More

We had a 3 hours and a half tour in Monument Valley with Bobby, our Navajo guide. Bobby was wonderful and he highly contributed in making a great moment of this trip. He told us a lot about the Navajo culture and brought us in remote places where the usual mass of tourists does not go, he played flute in... More

There is really no other way to see Monument Valley. Clint did a wonderful tour and has a great eye and experience to help you with your photography as well. He has the knowledge and experience to help you get so much out of the tour. We toured from early till late with a break in between. The morning started... More

I went on three tours with Monument Valley Safari. I am a very advanced amateur photographer and I wanted tours that I could get the early morning light and the late evening sunset light and also learn about the Navajo ways. The first tour I was on was the 3 hour sunrise tour with Duffy to Lower Monument Valley to... More

Duffy took us on a whirlwind guided tour of Mystery Valley, and we got to see several artifacts and places where the ancient people lived, long before the Dine (aka Navajo) arrived. Duffy is knowledgeable and friendly and fun. Good sense of humor. Highly recommend him as a guide. I'd tellyou more about Mystery Valley, but we're supposed to keep... More

We visited Monument Valley in March this year (2013). I had done some internet research to find a tour guide that would be "photo-friendly" and had picked Monument Valley Safari Tours. Shaye was our guide. This was a wonderful tour! He was very friendly, an excellent driver, quite knowledgeable, and able to give suggestions for photo composition, framing, etc. I... More

Several weeks ago we were in Monument Valley. We took a 3 hr. tour from Safari Tours and our guide, Clint Eastwood ( yup..but no, not THE Clint Eastwoord) was terrific. He was patient and I formative. And at one point had us look across a canyon telling us a story...then started playing a flute. It was mesmerizing. Very good... More

An excellent excursion by a very knowledgeable guide. We highly recommend this company. We took the half day trip and were thrilled by the sites that we saw. You will see vista that are only available when you take a tour as well as petroglyphs, arches, and amazing scenery. It truly enhanced our visit to Monument Valley. The Saferstein's NJ
