We went to the South Coyote Buttes this Thanksgiving with Steven as our guide the guide. It was a very fun day trip, with a lot of attractions and some mild hiking. We visited three places in the South Coyote Buttes area: Paw Hole, Cottonwave Cove and White Pocket. Each of them is very unique and exciting. Remember: if you... More

I have used Paria Outpost on more than one vacation in the area as they know the sights really well. I found them to be very quick responding to calls and emails and to make arrangements which they kept to (even though there was no certainty we'd get a Coyote Butte South permit in the lottery). Steve - and his... More

We had a great time with our experienced guide Steve, owner of Paria Outpost, during our two day trips with him in Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, Utah. Not only does he have the knowledge, his laid-back manner makes him an easy travelling companion - and the off-road driving was fun too! He took us to some out-of-the-way water pockets near... More

We hired Paria Outpost and Outfitters to take us to White Pocket so we could camp a few nights and have two days of morning light to photograph White Pocket. Paria Outpost and Outfitters was fantastic. It was great not having to worry about being responsible for a 4WD rental vehicle and navigating the myriad of roads in the area.... More

We went with Steve to the White Pocket and the South Coyote Buttes and it was a perfect day. In the morning we had to make quite a detour because the roads were flooded because of a nasty thunderstorm the day before. But we arrived safe and sound at the sites. Steve showed us all the beautiful spots and gave... More

Recently we traveled to a remote area in northern Arizona with Susan Dodson. She was a great driver, guide and fun person. We had a great time, great tour and felt like we were with an old friend. The trip is rough and long. She made a great sack lunch which was much appreciated.

We had no trouble communicating with Paria and arranging a tour of Coyote Buttes South and White Pocket, even at the last minute. Susan lead our tour. She did a fabulous job on the difficult ride to reach both areas. In each location, she gently lead us around the large area to be viewed, giving us plenty of freedom for... More

About 5 months ago, we contacted Paria Outpost, as we found him to be 1 of 2 outfitters in the neigbourhood of Page, that could take us to White Pocket and South Coyote Butte. First of all, don't even bother calling, as they never pick up the phone. And we tried all days of the week, different times... without success.... More
