The breathtaking 35 acre oasis awakens the senses, stirs the spirit and relaxes the mind. From the first spring blossoms to the colorful fall and into the stillness of winter there is a sense of magic. Wheelchair accessible pathways wind through lavish ribbons of color and fragrance. Waterfalls sparkle in the sunlight splashing down to ponds and lakes where black and white swans, along with other waterfowl, glide in the shimmering waters. You may see peacocks strutting, or get a glimpse of blue herons or great egrets swooping down, their huge wingspans casting shadows over the lakes. « less

While the concept is great, the entire park seemed to be poorly maintained. More

This place is definately worth your drive. The blooms and ground are so beautiful anytime of the year. During different times of the year they host special events which is always pleasing. Then, take a short drive down the road to visit Mineral Wells. The State Park has awesome places to hike and just walk around lake Mineral Wells. More

We've had a drought here in Texas and I'm sure that played a part in the lack of blooming plants and wilted flowers. But I could envision the beauty and splendor that this park would typically have! The grounds were well maintained, free from litter, paths were clearly marked, and we enjoyed out visit. Someone was having a wedding in... More

We have been going to Clark Gardens since it opened! We have also been there every season. We can say, hands down, that Mr. Clark has something blooming year-round. This is a delightful garden. The miniature train section is a sheer joy! We would be hard pressed to pick our favorite section of the entire garden as each area stands... More

What a wonderful way to spend the day outdoors. You will want your camera and a good pair of walking shoes. I could have spent all day here taking pictures of all the beautiful flowers. The walking paths and gardens are very well maintained and just simply beautiful. Pack a lunch, there are several places to stop and have a... More
