Rockport has become quite an artists' colony, and the best place to start is the Rockport Center for the Arts. The exhibits change frequently, often featuring local artists. Entrance is free with plenty of parking, and you can get information about what's happening while you are in town. There is an outdoor sculture garden and seasonal festivals as well. Check...
