It's amazing to me how few people ever visit this park! The grounds are well maintained and it's nestled back off the main road by a barrier of trees. Lovely covered pavilion for a family picnic and several different areas of playground equipment for the kiddos.

we spent and evening walking the trails one night after dinner and really enjoyed how this was not a city like walking trail. very woodsy and natural. We saw lots of people on trail bikes and it looked to be fun and challenging for that. you can camp out there as well. It looked to be animal freindly for dogs...

Great trails, beautiful trees, caming sites and cool mpuntain Bike trails.

There is a flat, boring mountian bike trail. Not really much else to do here. The weather in summer is way too hot/humid to enjoy a hike for any extended time.
Its sad to say that this may well be the best park North Texas has to offer.

Erwin's off-road mountain bike trail features over 8 miles of singletrack. The variety of terrain from open wildflower plains to wooded sections with fun dips and drops provides something for all skill levels. The trail is closed when muddy to prevent damage. Check out DORBA.org for more info.

A great place to enjoy the nature. Great bike trail, huge spaces to let your dogs run free and just beautiful. Not flat at all!!
