My husband and I visited Trader's Village last fall. We had not been there in a number of years, and the market has changed considerably. It is now mostly a hispanic local market but the quality of the goods was very poor. There was a great deal of garage sale reselling going on, and a lot of junk. There are... More

This is a very large flea market with lots of locals selling their new and used goods. Mostly inexpensive stuff like sunglasses, t-shirts and tools. Many food vendors and interesting shops. More

The stalls just keep going and going, lots of knock-offs and cut-rate goods. But in the mix, there are some curiosities and deals to be had. I was mainly looking for records and I found a few goodies. Stay away from the corndog stand. How do you mess up a corndog? I guess I should know better, it is a... More

This use to be great 8 years ago. Now it is overcome with mexicans. All selling pretty much the same thing. When can we go to find a equally diverse culture? More

We have visited this location for over a decade, but just returned after not going there for a few years. The quality has gone down and it is certainly not like the big flea markets such as Round-Top or Canton, which are antique centered. This one over a hundred small shops that seem permanent, then many many other temporary set-ups.... More

My husband & I have lived here for over 2 years. In the 2 years we have been here, there has been an ongoing problem with the laundromat & swimming pool. I called several times regarding these situations & keep being told it will be next week. Next week has turned into months now with the laundromat. Has been closed... More

Spent 3+ weeks at RV park due to business in the area. Lots of activity on the weekends due to the flea market but quiet during the week. Security on premises and nice layout of RV spaces with plenty of room. Maintenance of the RV park is sorely lacking. 50% of the dryers never worked in the laundry even after... More

Not much to see, not much to offer. Felt sorry for the poor animals that they are selling in there. Most of them were so hot and thirsty they could barely move or think. They don't even look healthy. More

When I go I have to excercise restraint or I will come home with all sorts of odds and ends that I 1.) Do not need and 2.) have no place for. You should go. Its the closest thing to an open air market street that Houston has. More

In Feb 2009 I was staying in Houston on business, and had a weekend to spend, so I decided to visit the Trader's Village. I was staying by the Galleria in Houston, and the Trader's Village was $40 by cab from there (gulp!). I am a veteran of car boot sales in the UK and this sounded interesting. Once you... More
